E-GAP launches its first urban-based EV charging station
E-GAP has launched E-GAP Station, a new fast, grid-independent, on-demand charging solution in Europe. The installation was established in the city of Brescia, Italy, and is expected to be rolled out to other cities and markets starting in spring.
The facility features six charging points and a rest area where customers can wait comfortably while their electric vehicle is charging.
E-GAP Station is an urban electric charging station based on energy storage technologies. The facility has six charging points available, two in DC with a maximum output of 150 kW and four in AC with a charging capacity of 22 kW. The site also features a rest area where customers can wait comfortably while their electric vehicle (EV) charging is completed.
“E-GAP Station helps cities move towards the Smart Cities concept and represents a step forward towards an increasingly accessible and sustainable mobility, in line with the Net Zero targets required by Europe,” stated Eugenio de Blasio, Founder and President of E-GAP.
