TotalEnergies launches mobility card for EV charging in France
TotalEnergies has announced the launch of Charge+, a mobility card that gives access to a network of 100,000 public charging points throughout France.
With this innovation, the company aims to support the growth of electric mobility in the country and make it as easy as possible for drivers to recharge their vehicles.
The initiative includes two packages to suit all uses, Charge+ Classique and Charge+ Confort. The first is a subscription-less service, ideal for occasional recharging on the move. The second includes a subscription service targeted for frequent recharging on the move, with exclusive benefits.
“We want to offer EV owners the smoothest, simplest charging experience possible, wherever they are in the country, by making a vast charging network available. This offer is in line with our commitment to support our customers in their electric mobility,” explains Mathieu Soulas, Director of New Mobility at TotalEnergies.
Customers who have taken out an Electricity & Gas contract with TotalEnergies are automatically granted Charge+ Premium status. This gives them access to additional discounts and benefits on the TotalEnergies network of charging stations.
The Charge+ offer consists of a recharging card that gives access to the firm’s operated recharging stations powered by electricity from renewable sources as well as to those of its partners. The service also involves an app that lets users subscribe to the Charge + offer online, find the nearest charging station and track their expenses.
